Michael Flynn decided to go drastic on the heat he has been receiving regarding his testimony after the Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed him.
Namely, Flynn pleaded the Fifth Amendment and will proceed as neutral in the entire matter.
He received the subpoena due to the ongoing investigation on Russia’s involvement with President Trump in time of his campaign.
Prior to this, Flynn agreed to share his testimony but only in return for immunity, which wasn’t granted to him.
He was fired after it was revealed he was communicating with the Russian Ambassador while keeping the White House out of the loop.
Aside from Flynn, other staffers of Trump’s were asked to turn over documentation of colluding with Russia in this timeframe. Such thing was asked of Trump’s former foreign policy adviser Carter Page, informal adviser Roger Stone and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Things are moving at a fast pace in Washington, as the liberals are pushing for severe sanctions against Trump and his coworkers.
Demands for impeachment have been suggested by democrats, but the truth of the matter is Trump refused to be involved in this matter and denied all claims that he was collaborating with Russia.
What do you think about Flynn’s move?
