America’s VP Mike Pence was one of the people that held a speech at today’s Naval Academy graduation. At the ceremony, around 1,000 graduates are expecting to be commissioned as officers.
What impressed America the most was pence’s speech and empowering message that spoke volumes about what this government is all about. In the end, his speech was followed by a mass standing ovation.
“No matter what path you take, know that the commander in chief is proud of you and so am I,” Pence said. “America will never forget them.”
Aside from Pence, Superintendent Vice Adm. Ted Carter also sent a message of encouragement to the graduates. This “selfless service continues today,” he said.
“Lead, fight, win. I want those in your back pocket…The real work starts now,” he finished.
