Attorney General Jeff Sessions got a vicious message from the liberal community after a photo of him wearing a KKK cape was projected on several locations across America.
The first surge of projections happened on the Department of Justice building.
These projections were inventions by activist and artist Robin Bell. The deed is supposed to link Sessions with ridiculous racism tensions in the country.
“I thought the KKK was OK until I learned that they smoked pot,” one of the projections reads. , a close approximation to a comment Mr. Sessions made while investigating a case against Klansmen as a US attorney in Alabama in the 1980s. Mr. Sessions later characterized the comment as a joke, which the other attorneys present at the time agree with.
According to many, this was a distasteful manner in which Sessions was showcased. Many link Sessions’ photo projections suggest this could be linked to the firing former FBI Director James Comey, something Sessions was very passionate about.
Other photos that Bell projected were of Rex Tillerson, Nikki Haley, and Scott Pruit.
Bell gave an interview recently and noted these messages were supposed to show resistance and that Sessions will be sanctioned accordingly.
“Maybe in the history books, it’ll show that we were not for this,” he said.
